Hey food & drink lovers! Welcome to the 5th episode of bar-deli.TV. Boy do we have a treat for you today… what follows below is a 2-part interview with none other than mr Garrett Oliver of Brooklyn Brewery fame (also author of “The Brewmaster’s Table“, widely considered to be the definitive guide for how to pair food and beer). Look – bear in mind that I’m a BEGINNER in this whole gourmet food/drink world, but maybe you’ll get some of those rare “elusive obvious” insights just because of that? Anyway, hope you enjoy the videos!

Part 1 here: (Garrett talks to Niclas about his beer beginnings, plus gives a few tips to this beer beginner: “How to find your favorite beer”)

Part 2 here: (Garrett talks to Niclas about his two BIGGEST tips for how to pair food and beer, plus a bit about the creative process around his beer craftsmanship – influences, inspirations and such.)

Ok, hope you liked it… I sure enjoyed the short meeting with this awesome expert. Now I’m looking forward to some comments from YOU, my dear viewers!

Until next time,
Niclas

Hey guys! Welcome to the 4th episode of Bar-deli.TV! Last weekend we went to a big food fair in Gothenburg, and here comes the first of two interviews we did there. (EDIT: unfortunately the second video we did was of unusable quality due to excessive background noise. Sorry Scandchoco, we’ll get back to you later!) We also met many more interesting people, so we’ll definitely go there soon again for some follow-up.

Anyway, on to the show! I have to say this first though – I apologize for the really low and background-noisy sound in this interview!! The setting of a fair with LOTS of people rustling just a few feet from the iphone (which I’m using to film) wasn’t really ideal, BUT there’s some great content here so I hope at least you chocolate afficionados can enjoy it despite the “technicalities”…

As always, I’ll be happy for any comments! See you soon…

Greetings Bar-deli.TV viewers! Last week I managed to catch a rare occasion of food celebrity spotting – here follows my filming from an open press event where icecream innovators Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield talked to an interested audience about their commitment to the Fairtrade certification on all their products within the next couple of years. Ben & Jerry are really a couple of super-inspiring social entrepreneurs, hope you enjoy this!

(Disclaimer – I’m not the one arranging this event, nor conducting the interview! I just caught the opportunity and it turned out to be an fascinating talk.)
